I drive by Buddy Clark’s quite often, but I’ve never noticed it before right off the side of Green Ridge Street in Dunmore. This can most likely be attributed to the fact that it is a small townie bar that is easily missed. There is not much seating outside of the bar area. The waitress was nice and was very good at getting our food and drinks. We got there around Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy time, and the waitress allowed us to put that station on, so we got to enjoy that while enjoying wings. The place wasn’t that packed, we shared company with a group of older guys and a group of college-aged girls. The two groups seemed friendly enough. It seemed like a nice place to hang out, and the rest of the menu was intriguing. I can see myself getting other food from there in the future. On top of that, I’m pretty sure this is the only place I have come across that has a Saturday night wing night. It was interesting because they were out of a lot of things. For example, I wanted a lemon for my water, but they were out. I also wanted Hot Garlic Parm, but they were out of Parmesan cheese.

It’s nice to find a place that has their wings at $0.35. It’s not as common as it used to be. These wings were a pretty nice size for the price too. You won’t leave disappointed, that’s for sure.

I wasn’t able to locate a menu of this place online, so I went into it blind. With it being such a small place I was under the assumption that they wouldn’t have a huge selection. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a pretty decent selection of flavors. There was nothing super out of the ordinary here, but I’m always happy with more variety. They also allow you to mix and match flavors that they have listed on the menu.

    Wing Taste (x2): 7

This place did a great job of making a wing that was both big and crunchy. Personally, I like bigger, rubbery wings. It’s nice to get a crunchiness in there, but it’s rare with bigger wings because by cooking them longer, they get smaller. I ordered Hot, Hot Garlic Caesar, and Hot Ranch. The Hot were decent. These wings didn’t overly impress me., but they still had a good taste to them. The wing was pretty spicy. The Hot Garlic Caesar were pretty darn good. I liked the mixture of the sauces here. The Hot Ranch were really good too. I’ve never had a bad Hot Ranch, and this place didn’t disappoint either.

Buddy Clark’s is a small bar off of Greenridge St. It felt like a little townie bar that has its regulars that no about it. The place is a straight up bar with an obvious Irish touch. There is no pool table or darts, you basically go there for 1 reason unless you are the Wingmen. Our bartender was nice and the patrons who were there were in good spirits.

    Wing Size: 8

At wing night at Buddy Clark’s, you will find that wings are 35 cents. That doesn’t happen a lot any more. As for the size of the wings, they are a very generous size. There were a few that were small but most were large.

Clark’s, which I believe is sometimes called had better flavor selection than I though they were going to have. They had hot, hot ranch, Caesar, bbq, butter/garlic and ranch but then on their menu they let you know that the caesar, ranch, hot and parmesan can be mixed with any their flavors. I really like how they put that on the menu.

    Wing Taste (x2): 7

First off, the wings were nice and crispy and for their size that is difficult to do. I ordered the hot, Caesar, hot ranch and butter/garlic. The hot were solid with a descent spice to them. They were very flavorful in every bite. For the hot ranch, I could of used a bit more ranch to them but that’s nitpicking. The butter and garlic were alright and they had a lot of garlic but it was minced garlic and that’s okay, I just prefer actual fresh garlic. I think it makes a big difference. The Caesar were solid as well and were exactly what I was hoping for.
